SOT Sponsors Japanese Tsunami Relief Efforts

Following the widescale natural disaster that struck northern Japan earlier this year, your support enabled Sons of Thunder to be a source of immediate relief to those directly impacted by the tsunami. With nearly 16,000 confirmed deaths, 6,000 injured and 4,000 left missing - still countless others were left homeless and without basic necessities like
food, water or electricity. After the devastating flood, SOT provided direct ground relief by sponsoring trucks full of supplies and provisions. Our contacts from a local church in Japan began driving a steady stream of trucks to assist victims in refuge shelters, as well as those who had not yet been reached. One of the four-ton trucks found two entire elementary schools (with a total of about 600 children) that no one had even reached yet. They were happy to receive food and love!
